The Central Exhibition Hall ‘Manege’ will host Moscow Fashion Week from 4 to 9 October. According to Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Moscow Mayor, the program includes fashion shows by established and upcoming brands, lectures by experts, an open market, a business showroom, and a festival of fashion short films.

“In October, the capital will once again promote international cooperation in the fashion industry. Nearly 200 designers from Russia and abroad, including Brazil, India, China, Costa Rica, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries with positive diplomatic relations with Russia, will present their collections to a wider audience,” Natalya Sergunina said.

Participants and guests at the event will have the opportunity to learn more about local brands from 36 regions, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar Krai, Tatarstan, Kalmykia, Chuvashia, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Tyumen, Nizhny Novgorod, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, and Samara.

Eighty-three fashion shows are scheduled for a period of six days.

The ‘Manege’ will host an open market from 5 to 9 October with clothes, shoes, and accessories by Russian designers on sale between 13:00 to 21:00 for those who have pre-registered on the event website.

Fashion brands will showcase their products to wholesale buyers in the business showroom and engage in negotiations with potential partners.

Submissions for the World Fashion Shorts Festival have been received from different countries including Argentina, Belarus, Colombia, Mexico, and Turkey, among others. An international Advisory Board will select the best films for a special screening at the Artplay Design Centre on October 5.

The BRICS+ Fashion Summit is scheduled to kick off in the capital on 3 October, with delegations from more than 100 countries expected to attend the Summit and the events of Moscow Fashion Week.
